More comfort for skiers

With the new Rosskarbahn, Gurgl is underpinning its claim in terms of top quality skiing from winter 21/22. The state-of-the-art system from the Austrian industry leader Doppelmayr scores with a conveying capacity of 2,400 people per hour. In just under nine minutes, winter sports enthusiasts and pedestrians can get from the center of Obergurgl to the slopes and restaurants at the Festkogl Alm at 2,668 m. The Omega V gondolas offer plenty of space for up to 10 people. It's not just the inner values ​​of the cabs including seat heating that impress with their comfort. Thanks to the "D-Line" technology, the lift is windproof and extremely smooth.

Congresses and Events at 2,000 m

A special architectural masterpiece is being created in Gurgl - the Gurgl Carat. The unique location in the heart of Obergurgl, the extraordinary design in the form of a diamond and the state-of-the-art technology make the Gurgl Carat a congress and event center of international standing. It offers space for up to 520 people and has a flexible room layout that allows countless event variants: whether congresses, conferences, meetings, concerts, balls or regional events - the Gurgl Carat is the perfect location.

Due to the situation, the Gurgl Carat will have another function this winter and will become the mobile test station in Gurgl. There you can get tested before you start your journey home. You will receive the test result within 24 hours. The costs for this are € 85 per person.

One ski pass for the whole Ötztal valley

6 ski areas with 361 kilometers of slopes and 90 lifts combined in one card! The Ötztal Powder Card is the key to Hochoetz-Kühtai, Niederthai, Gries, Sölden, Vent and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. From every 3-day ski pass or longer valid ticket these ski areas are included.

The ski passes can now be purchased in the online shop with a discount of up to 20%. This enables you to calculate your expenses and save yourself any waiting times at the lift ticket offices. In addition, those who secure their ski passes weeks or months in advance will be rewarded.

Up to 5 days before the first day of the ski pass, the ski pass is always cheaper in the online shop, after that (from 4 days in advance) the highest ticket price also applies online. The earlier you buy the ticket, the cheaper the price.
With the offered cancellation insurance, all ski passes are refunded up to 5 days BEFORE the first day of the ski pass.
